LEÆTHER STRIP is the project of Danish electronic industrial artist Claus Larsen and considered one of the most exciting emerging acts in Europe in the early 90's. Instantly establishing itself as a classic, featuring a punishing rhythm pace and aggressive electronic style with distorted vocals that he has since become renown for and that is often described as "LEÆTHER STRIP"s trademark" and helped define what is today known as electro-industrial.

LEÆTHER STRIP conquered the hearts of hundreds of thousands of fans of electronic industrial music across the world with both "Solitary Confinement" (1992) and "Underneath The Laughter" (1993) his position was established, reaching top sales in both the European and American electro scenes. While reminding the powerful angst seen in other electro acts such as FRONT 242, SKINNY PUPPY or even NINE INCH NAILS, LEÆTHER STRIP rapidly got the reputation to be carrying a deeper message and meaning in his work through his very personal intense music and the sometimes emotional, sometimes political dimension of his lyrics.

With "Serenade for the Dead" (1994) LEÆTHER STRIP shook the foundations of the industrial scene by surprise, going towards a more orchestral / gothic sound we would later refer to as "symphonic dark electronics".

Follow-up albums "Legacy Of Hate And Lust" (1995) and "The Rebirth Of Agony" (1996) and "Self-Inflicted" (1997), continues the LEÆTHER STRIP sound tradition.
LEÆTHER STRIP paid homage to SOFT CELL with the release of the "Anal Cabaret" ep and the 7-track single to date "Carry Me" (2000).

After the Devastation (2 CD, 2005), The Giant Minutes to the Dawn (2007) constituted the "true" return of the band to classic Leæther Strip form.

DIVE
There are few Electro-pioneers of the first wave that are still active and successful. Belgian artist Dirk Ivens is one of them, inspiring a lot of acts to follow in the past three decades – be it as part of Absolute Body Control, The Klinik or Sonar, or with his solo project DIVE.

Influenced by bands like Suicide, D.A.F. and the UK electronic scene, Dirk Ivens appeared from 1980 on under the name Absolute Body Control on several compilations. Absolute Body Control exists for 5 years before both members in search for new challenges form projects like The Klinik , Dive, Sonar, Monolith and Insekt.

In 1985, The Klinik and became one of Belgians most exciting electronic bands, having a very good live reputation with their unique sound and visual gigs and even today they are still an influence for many young bands.

In 1990, Dirk released a self-titled solo album under the name Dive. Very primitive, harsh and experimental, with lyrics about hope, death, love and fear, and hits like 10000 volts. This was the start of many products with an evolving sound, sometimes in collaboration with persons and groups like Sigillum S, Controlled Bleeding, Kirlian Camera, Ivan Iusco, Rafael M. Espinosa, Diskonnekted and Francoise Duvivier. With a minimum on equipment, Dirk creates a maximum of power. Dirk is still one of the leaders of the Belgian electronic scene of today.
